TWO BROTHERS who repeatedly stabbed their mother's partner after they thought he had attacked her have each been jailed for four years.

Christopher McLaughlin, 26, and sibling Darren, 23, plunged a balde into Kevin McCartney's body at his flat in Alexandria on Halloween 2010.

A DUMBARTON drug dealer is languishing in jail after police stopped her deadly trade.

Herion peddler Patricia Ann Kennedy was locked up after it was discovered she was selling drugs from her home in the town.

ANGRY boat owners have accused National Park bosses of scuttling their enjoyment of Loch Lomand.

The water enthusiasts are up in arms over changes to Loch Lomand bylaws which could see family pets and camping- including sleeping on boats- banned from islands on the loch.

They are also upset over the way the consultation has been set and have accused the Park of excluding a number of their members as they say it was predominantly internet based.
