The company are asking people from Dumbarton and the Vale to document the way in which bad winter weather affects their daily lives.
Budding film makers are asked to film yourselves and your surroundings as you battle the weather and adapt your behaviour and job in response to the conditions. The filming doesn’t have to be professional and can be done on an iPhone/Go Pro etc.
A spokesperson told the Reporter: "The key things we could be looking for is for the person to say who they are, what they do, how they battle/adapt to the weather and their thoughts about it in general . This could be done whilst you go about your job/life as usual. Be creative with it – it should be almost like a Vlog. This could be a fun opportunity and if the footage is selected to feature in the transmitted programme, we would of course pay for it."
It goes without saying that we wouldn’t want any readers to do anything they wouldn’t do normally so please don’t put yourselves in danger for the perfect shot.
