This week officers will be targeting those wanted in connection with criminal offences including domestic abuse, drug dealing, housebreaking and robbery.
The action is part of the division’s efforts to support Police Scotland’s national festive safety campaign.
Detective Chief Inspector Scott McMillan said: “Our message to criminals in the area is simple. If you are wanted on an outstanding warrant, you will be caught and arrested.
“We want the communities of Dumbarton and the Vale to feel safe over the festive period.
“We normally see a rise in the number of domestic abuse at this time of year and we will be knocking on the doors of individuals we hold warrants for to let them know that this will not be tolerated.
“Whatever the offence, our officers will be looking to track down people to hold them to account for their actions.”
