British Transport Police said a 23-year-old man and 36-year-old woman have been arrested and reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the alleged theft of personal property from a 51-year-old man.
The alleged victim was on holiday with his elderly mother and guide dog and travelling between Glasgow and Oban on October 21 last year.
A couple began speaking to them, then got off the train at Dumbarton Central and the blind man later realised some of his belongings were missing and reported the incident to police.
