The 40-year-old previously admitted punching one man on the head and headbutting another during an assault which also saw him utter threats of violence to staff and threaten to damage property.

Wark, of Park Crescent, appeared for sentencing at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week.

Kenny Clark, defending, told the court his client would be willing to comply with the terms of a community payback order.

Sheriff Simon Pender adjourned matters in order for a drug treatment and testing order assessment to be carried out. He granted Wark bail with the special condition that he must not enter the Co-operative store in question. Wark will return to court for sentencing next month.
