Public comments are being sought on the detailed plans unveiled for the new Dumbarton council offices.
West Dunbartonshire Council wants to move 500 staff from its current base at Garshake to the historic Burgh Hall building on Church Street.
The design will retain the A-listed facade of the historic building, formerly home to Dumbarton Academy, with new offices being built at the rear.
The authority says the proposed move – part of a £18.6million office rationalisation project – would save £300,000 a year, restore the derelict frontage of the A-listed building, and help boost the regeneration of the town centre.
The plans for the new office are due to come before the council’s planning committee in the coming months.
Comments can be made on the council’s planning website for application DC15/145.
