A woman has been arrested following a car crash in Dumbarton..
The 33-year-old was travelling along Castlehill Road, when a white Hyundai is alleged to have passed through a red light at the junction with Cardross Road, hitting the barrier opposite, mounting the pavement before coming to a rest on the stairs leading to Brucehill.
The driver complained of neck and back pain and was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, for assessment, on Monday September 21. It is alleged she subsequently failed the roadside breath test and she will appear at court on a later date.
