Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after nine cars had their bodywork deliberately scratched.
The vehicles were parked on Hawthornhill Road, Dumbarton, during the vandalism, which occurred between 11am and 1.45pm on Monday, September 28.
The cars involved were a grey Volkswagen Passat, a grey Peugeot 107, a black Citroen C3, a white Dacia Duster, a white Peugeot Expert van, a white Citroen, a red Mitsubishi Carisma, a red Renault Clio, and a red Citroen C1.
In addition, two tyres were slashed on a white Vauxhall Corsa which was parked on Cook Road, Balloch, overnight between Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4.
During the same time frame, a red Nissan Qashqai had it’s bodywork scratched while it was parked on Bridge Street, Alexandria.
