POLICE in Dumbarton were involved in a three-hour roof stand-off with a suspect following an alleged break-in at Dumbarton Academy on Saturday night.
It's understood that officers chased two suspects, both male, after they were spotted leaving the school at around 7.38pm on Saturday.
One man was apprehended nearby, while it's understood a second suspect entered a house in Round Riding Rd and tried to escape via the roof.
Police cordoned off the area and closed the road before negotiators were called on.
One man was taken into custody after three hours.
Police confirmed that two males, aged 22 and 24, were arrested and it's understood that they will appear at Dumbarton Sheriff court on Tuesday in connection with the incident.
