A CLYDEBANK man has been given a community payback order as a direct alternative to custody.

Ross Graham, 25 , of Montrose Street Clydebank, appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday having breached his bail conditions on two separate occasions.

Graham, previously of Bontine Avenue, Dumbarton, was made the subject of an Anti Social Behaviour Order in November 2014 which prohibited him from causing a nuisance to people within or visiting Bontine Avenue.

On November 23, 2015 at Bontine Avenue, Graham breached his order by excessively playing loud music causing a disturbance and breaching his bail.

Graham again breached his bail conditions on a separate offence when he attempted to contact a woman within Stoneyflatt, Dumbarton.

Grahams defence solicitor, Scott Adair addressed Sheriff Simon Pender explaining that the relationship has completely ended and Graham remained in sporadic employment. The ending of the relationship helped him deal with his issues.

Sheriff Pender said: "With some hesitation I am willing to deal with these matters by community payback. You somewhat unsatisfactorily completed the last set."

Graham was given 200 hours for one offence and 100 hours for the other. The hours were to run consecutively and Graham was given 12 months to complete them.

Sheriff Pender stated: "If you fail to comply you will be brought back into this court. This is a direct alternative to custody."
