A fundraising night in memory of a Renton community champion raised more than £1,000.
Isabel Barr, the former chairwoman of Cordale Housing Assocation in the village, died on June 23 following a short illness.
Isabel’s friend and one of the organisers of prize bingo held at the John Connelly Centre on Saturday, Jackie Kemp, said an ‘amazing £1,208.58’ was raised.
The funds are to be either donated to Vale of Leven Hospital or to Isabel’s family.
