A Rock 'n' Roll band are tuning up to play to their most captive audience to date - when they stage a cell-out gig inside a high security prison.
Holy Pistol Club will hold the special one off performance in front of an audience of lags at Shotts Prison later this month.
All the money raised on the day will be going to charity.
The five-piece band are taking their inspiration from a series of concerts held by music legend Johnny Cash.
Back in the 1950s the renowned singer-songwriter began performing in front locked up criminals - and even ended up recording two live albums from behind bars.
On Friday singer James Cairns said that the band, whose members all hail from Dumbarton and the Vale, were looking forward to the unique event.
He joked: "It's going to be our first sell-out gig of the year so we are on the right road.
"It all started a while ago we were on tour. I was with The Haze at the time and there as a guy who works in Shotts prison who was at the gig.
"He loved our band and he came to see us in Edinburgh when we got our own gig and we got familiar with him.
"He became one of our mates and he has been trying to get us in there for a while.
"It's come back around again now and they have asked us to play.
"I'm sure it's going to be an experience. We've done festivals and tours but this will be a totally different environment.
"It'll be in the prison chapel so the acoustics should be bang on. It's gearing up to be a right good gig. We are looking forward to it and there has been a good bit of interest in it so far."
The group are raising money on the day for The Vale of Leven Autism Forum and Nordoff Robbins music therapy in Scotland - a group who teach disabled children how to play music.
