ON WHAT A YES VOTE MEANS: “There are many unanswered questions with voting NO; Will we be in Europe in five years time? Will the NHS in Scotland be privatised as it is in England? How many billions are Westminster parties planning to cut Scotland’s budget? Will Labour cut the free bus pass and free prescriptions when their Cuts Commission finally issues its report?

“The real difference is that with a YES vote we, the people of Scotland, will be in control and will make all the decisions that affect our future, but with a NO vote, someone else makes those decisions for us — irrespective of what Scotland thinks, wants or needs.” ON CURRENCY: “We will be using the pound. We can’t make it any clearer than that.” ON BABCOCK: “The removal of nuclear weapons from the Clyde will allow us to extract the oil in the Clyde, generating more jobs and boosting the economy of the whole Clyde area; the shift to a conventional naval base and headquarters of the Scottish Defence Force will ensure more jobs in the area as construction work would be required and more jobs servicing the Scottish HQ would also be generated.

“As for the skills we have on the Clyde — try telling that to the thousands of shipyard workers who have lost their jobs since 1979, the lack of a coherent shipbuilding, or even industrial policy by Westminster governments of all shades has resulted in massive job losses in Scotland.” ON WHAT MATTERS TO THE SCOTTISH PEOPLE: “What matters to the people of Scotland is that our riches — the vast wealth of Scotland — is used to create a stronger economy with jobs for all and a fairer society where we don’t punish the vulnerable with the bedroom tax and benefit cuts.”
