Missing Kilmarnock man David O Donnell has allegedly been spotted in Dumbarton.

David O’Donnell left his home in Dunure Place, Kilmarnock and was visiting a customer in Riverview, Cumnock on the morning of Monday, June 1 for the coachworks company he works for, he was last seen around 10am in Riverview Cumnock.

Police have confirmed his car was spotted on a CCTV a Morrisons petrol station in Dumbarton on Tuesday.

David is around 5 ft 8 inches in height, with a slim build, clean shaven, blue eyes and short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a grey polo shirt, grey sweatshirt, both with a company logo on them. He was wearing grey trousers, black shoes and a blue waterproof jacket.

David is driving a silver Jaguar XJ6 with the registration LV57 XYE and police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the car or David. Extensive enquiries have been undertaken and officers are in the process of speaking to David’s family and friends.

Inspector Brian Anderson from Kilmarnock Police Office said: “David’s family is extremely worried about him as it’s so out of character for him not to be in touch with them. I am appealing to anyone who may have seen David or his car to contact us so that we know he is safe and well.
