A82 smash

A CAR flipped over during a serious crash on the main route through Dumbarton and the Vale.

The motorist had to be cut from his vehicle, after it ended up on its roof, after he crossed the dual carriageway of the A82, near to Dunglass Roundabout.

As the Reporter went to press, the man was being treated in the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, although his injuries are not thought to be serious.

The incident occurred around 11.25am on Monday (yesterday).
