Youngsters in training at Nicola Park's academy
THE latest twists and turns in the life of Scotland's best-loved buroo bandit - Rab C Nesbitt - will come to your small screens this year, with a Dumbarton actress at the forefront of it.
And Nicola Park hopes that one of her talented pupils from the area will be joining her in the new series.
She is returning to her role of the famous Govan rogue's daughter-in-law, Bridie Nesbitt, 10 years after the last series was filmed.
Meanwhile, six of the girls from her Dumbarton-based academy are in the running for the part of her on-screen daughter, Peaches Nesbitt.
Molly Cowie, aged seven, from Dumbarton, is the youngest from the Nicola Park Musical Theatre Academy to try out for the part on Wednesday.
She was joined by fellow Daughters of the Rock, Vicky Lannigan, 13, Demi Kelly, 11, Jade Smith, 13, and Lauren Dobbin, nine.
While the Vale also had an acting protegee auditioning in Elizabeth Anderson, 10, from Alexandria.
