STAVROS Flatley and Susan Boyle have become household names thanks to Britain's Got Talent, and now a Vale teen is hoping the show will propel her band to superstardom.
Stunning Liza Stitt, 18, is part of tribute act The Kittycat Dolls - who perform hit songs of the Pussycat Dolls - and after "impressing" at the initial auditions for the TV talent show, she believes they can go all the way.
But the former Our Lady and St Patrick's pupil, from Alexandria, has got big ambitions for the future which go well beyond getting the thumbs up from Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden.
She told the Reporter: "The auditions went really well and we all had such a fantastic time.
"When we eventually got into the audition, after waiting almost all morning, they asked us all sorts of questions and seemed to be quite impressed.
"Although we will not hear for a few weeks whether we will actually get to go on in front of Simon Cowell and the rest of the judges we are quite confident.
"All of us are just keeping our fingers crossed because it would be a massive opportunity.
"We just love to perform and going to big venues, like at the Royal Variety Show, is a fantastic opportunity for us.
"Although we love being a tribute act, we would still like to be a band in our own right.
"Let's be honest, I wanna be famous, I wanna be a star, I wanna be in movies."
Blonde bombshell Liza beat off competition from more than 80 other girls to get picked for the energetic girl group - which is made up of Chloe Ferns, Allana Henry, Emma Gwynne and Fern Lessani - and after a whirlwind year of performances she is getting a taste for the high life.
The part-time waitress, who also teaches at Nicola Park Musical Theatre Academy in Dumbarton every Saturday, said: "When I got into the band, which was a bit of a shock anyway, I just thought we were going to be a small tribute act, but it's really taken off and we have done some amazing gigs.
"We are taking things as they come at the moment but hopefully in a year or so we will be even more well known all over the place.
"We were supporting George Sampson and Stavros Flately the other week and it was amazing, but we do not want to be the support act any more.
"I'm not too sure what the judges would think of us - unfortunately they will probably either love us or hate us."
