A man has appeared in court charged with attacking three children in public toilets.

Mark Gardner, 21, denies carrying out the attacks which allegedly took place in ASDA, Dumbarton, and in a Glasgow McDonald's restaurant.

At Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday he pled not guilty to indecently assaulting a 12-year-old boy in the toilets at ASDA, St James Retail Park, on February 21 this year.

He also denied punching a five-year-old boy in the face in the same toilets on January 21 this year and pled not guilty to indecently assaulting a nine-year-old boy at McDonald's Restaurant, Argyle Street, Glasgow, on February 6 this year.

Gardner, of Helensburgh, is due to stand trial for the alleged attacks next month.

Following the court appearance he was remanded in custody.
