STUNNING girl group The Kittycat Dolls are gearing up for what could be their most purrfect gig yet.
The girls are looking forward to setting the stage alight with their new show Dolled Up - Fierce and Fabulous, which will be held in the Classic Grand in Glasgow on Thursday August 12.
Band member Liza Stitt, 19, from Alexandria, who is also a dance teacher in schools around West Dunbartonshire, promised that the show will blow the audience away.
She told the Reporter: "It's going to be more exciting this year as we've got two more bands joining so it's quite good.
"There will be lots of costume changes to keep the audience going and we're doing popular songs and chart hits.
"People can expect a lots of energetic dance routines and good costume changes, it will just be a fantastic night."
Last year, the Kittycat Dolls - a tribute act to international girl band the Pussycat Dolls - sold out their show in the same venue.
Liza added: "We did a similar show last year which gave us the chance to showcase what we do.
"The show last year was really good as we didn't expect it to actually sell out."
Dolled Up - Fierce and Fabulous will include sets from The Sundays - a tribute to The Saturdays - and new boy band tribute, The Coverboys, will also be performing some tracks.
The girls are also looking forward to performing the show at the Denny Civic Theatre in Dumbarton at the end of September.
Their latest show on Thursday August 12 in The Classic Grand on Jamaica Street, Glasgow and doors open at 7pm.
Tickets are only £8 and are available from www.teelc.com
Children must be 14 years of age or over.
