Runners wanted for 10K series
RUNNERS in Dumbarton and the Vale are being urged to slip on their running shoes and help raise vital funds for Scottish veterans at the Polaroid 10k.
Erskine is on the hunt for runners of all abilities to run this year's two races being held in May and June.
The Dumbarton Polaroid 10k takes place on Thursdayt May 31 at 7.30pm, starting from the town's Dumbarton Academy at 7.30pm.
The Vale of Leven Polaroid 10k is being held on Sunday June 10, leaving from Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch, at 10am.
To complete the series the Helensburgh Polaroid 10k is on Thursday May 17, while Clydebank's run is on Thursday May 24.
Time is running out for Dumbarton and Vale of Leven supporters of Erskine to sign up before the deadlines.
Entrants can also benefit from a special discount if they also sign up to the other races in the series taking place in Helensburgh and Clydebank.
Alan Moss, Erskine fundraiser, said: "The Dumbarton and Vale of Leven Polaroid 10k events are for runners of all abilities and are a great opportunity for runners to challenge themselves

Your support is vital because we must raise £144,000 each week to continue to provide the high standard care our brave veterans so richly deserve."
Erskine will support all fundraisers every step of the way when they sign up to join Team Erskine. Entrants will be provided with an Erskine t-shirt and information pack with all the details needed to take part.
Erskine has five care homes across Scotland caring for over 1,300 veterans every year.
