LOVEBIRDS are being encouraged to take part in a special competition which could result in the stress being taken out of their wedding day.

Alexandria-based Princess Wedding Events are running a competition to celebrate their first year in business and are offering one lucky winner the chance to win the prize of a lifetime while helping charity.

Winners will receive a free wedding dress from Princess Bridal, 50 per cent off a candy buffet supplied by Yummylicious Candy Buffet and 50 Favours supplied by The Favour Fairies.

In addition the winner will be able to get the bride's hair done for free, a three tier cake supplied by Angel Cakes, a free meal for 40 people and free evening buffet supplied by the Rowantree Tavern as well as 50 per cent of wedding photography.

Lynne Kennedy, of Princess Wedding Events, said: "It's expensive enough for a wedding so this will help a bride on her big day so a competition like this will be a big help.

"For £10 you could win over £6000 worth of wedding stuff which is amazing.

"We've still to pick a charity that the money will go to but I hope we get a lot of support for it."

To enter all you have to do is purchase a raffle ticket at the cost of £10 each from the Princess Wedding Events shop in Leven Street and keep your fingers crossed.

The lucky winner will be announced on Monday 18th June 2012.
