A SERIES of CCTV images have been released today (Wednesday) following a spate of robberies across Dumbarton and the Vale.
The incidents spanned a two-month period between October and November 2011 and included a two bookies, and a corner shop.
The first robbery took place at 1pm on Saturday October 15, when a man entered Ladbrokes in High Street, Dumbarton and threatned staff with a blade.
He demanded money, however, staff refused and he left empty handed.
The suspect is described as around 5ft 11 inches, of medium build, wearing black 'deer hunter' style hat, a blue three quarter length 'Adidas' jacket with white stripes on the arms, blue jeans and brown boots.
The second incident, on Sunday October 23, occured after a man entered the Dillchip Stores, Bonhill.
He presented a syringe at staff whilst demanding money and made off with a sum of money and another item.
He is described as around 6ft in height, wearing a woollen hat, black jacket, green/white Celtic scarf covering his face, black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down each leg, carrying a blue/white plastic bag.
The final incident happened around 6.10pm on Saturday November 12, a man entered William Hill bookmakers, High Street, Dumbarton, threatened staff with a blade and made off with a sum of cash.
This suspect is described as around 5ft 6 inches in height, aged between 29 - 33 years of age, slim build, wearing a beanie hat, black jacket, black trousers, black scarf with yellow/orange stripes, and white 'Puma' trainers.
Detectives at Clydebank CID are keen to speak to anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV images or who may recognise the men from the clothing worn in the CCTV footage.
