Two arrests after 'large scale' disturbance.
TWO men have been arrested after a "large-scale disturbance" in Balloch Park in which two others were seriously injured.
Police were called to the area at 6pm on Saturday.
A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious arm injury and a 30-year-old sustained a facial injury.
An eight-year-old boy was hurt when he was hit on the head by an object.
The men, aged 19 and 22, were arrested and are in police custody.
Police said they would be reviewing CCTV footage of the area.
Also, eight people were rescued yesterday (Sunday) after being stranded on Inchmurrin Island on Loch Lomond at around 4.34am The Luss Rescue boat was sent to assist.
Helensburgh Coastguard and lifeboat crews were also called out yesterday to help a two-man cruiser which ran aground at the mouth of the River Leven at Dumbarton around 5.38pm.
The vessel was refloated and proceeded to Sandpoint Marina.
