Free meal for Diamond couples
THE Stonefield restaurant in Dumbarton is marking the Queen's Jubilee by treating the area's diamond residents to a free carvery.
Those celebrating 60 years of marriage can claim their free meal between Monday June 4 and Saturday June 9.
Gareth Smith, manager of the Stonefield in Milton, said: "As the UK's most regal carvery brand, we felt it was only fitting that we do something special to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee.
"Any 60 year anniversary is quite an achievement; and while our guests can't profess to 60 years as the UK's Head of State, we are confident there are lots of other gems in our community who are celebrating a diamond milestone of their own this year, 60 years of marriage.
"For the week of the Jubilee we will be honouring all of these locals in true sparkling style, offering them a token of what we do best - a carvery with all the trimmings on the house, of course."
Enjoying the free carvery couldn't be easier. All couples who got married in 1952 simply need to pop into their local Crown Carvery between Monday 4th and Saturday 9th June, inclusive, and present their wedding certificate along with a current form of ID to the team.
Gareth added: "At Crown Carveries we pride ourselves on delivering a right royal welcome for all of our guests."
