Police plea after ASDA incident

POLICE in Dumbarton are appealing for information following an alleged incident in Asda.

At around 11am on Saturday, an incident occurred between a woman and a child which saw other shoppers intervene.

Officers are now hoping to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened and are appealing for shoppers to come forward.

Anyone with any information should contact the family protection unit at Clydebank Police Office on 0141 532 3331 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
