Around 3.40am on New Year's Day, a man was seen outside the Job Centre Plus in the process of vandalising the exterior of the property and attempting to set a fire.
The premises were locked at the time and the fire didn't take hold.
He is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall with a medium build.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a camouflage style jacket, light coloured trousers and a checked flat cap.
In November of last year, we revealed how police issued CCTV images of a man they believed responsible for another two attempted fires at the Jobcentre.
Detective Constable Ian Evans from Clydebank CID said: “Extensive inquiries have taken place since the vandalism and attempted fire raising started around 12 months ago.
"I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in the photograph to contact CID at Clydebank by calling 101 or if you wish to information anonymously by speaking directly to CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111."
