On March 27 more than 50 members of the school community helped to support an annual blood drive, donating blood and raising awareness of the help this provides and the need for continued support.
This year, the event was organised by S6 pupil, Francesca Kaney as part of her Leadership course. The day was a real success.
Deputy head teacher at the school, Clare McKernan told us: “We’re delighted that once again our annual blood donation day was such a success, with 59 donations being made. We know just how important this service is to communities across Dumbarton and the Vale, and Scotland as a whole.”
