Darren McCafferty, of Lynn Walk, appeared for sentencing at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week. The 25-year-old had previously been told to be of good behaviour.
However, the court was told that he had breached the terms of a community payback order and had spent six months in custody as a result.
The offences for which he was due to be sentenced on Thursday were repeatedly throwing bricks at the door of a property in Grant Crescent, Renton, on November 7, 2012, and shouting and uttering threats towards police officers at his home address later that same year on November 27.
Sheriff Ruth Anderson once again deferred the matter for six months until October 2 during which time McCafferty must be of good behaviour or face the consequences.
