The bike was stolen from the common close at 80 Oakburn Walk in the town last week. Police believe the incident happened sometime overnight on Wednesday into Thursday (July 16-17). In a separate theft, a black and red coloured Scott Aspect mountain bike was also stolen from the common close at 17 Oakburn Walk overnight between Friday and Saturday (July 19-20). In a third theft, a black coloured Carrera Subway mountain bike was taken from outside Lomond Stores on Balloch Road in Alexandria last Friday. The bike was stolen around 11.20am. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
