Nominated for the Services to Women & Children Award is Shelia Downie, service manager of specialist children’s services.
Seven healthcare professionals and teams from across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde have been announced as finalists at the awards. The nominees fought off stiff competition from across the country to secure their place at this year’s award ceremony in November.
Andrew Robertson, chairman of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, said: “I am delighted to congratulate all our finalists on reaching the final stage of the Scottish Health Awards. Their hard work and dedication to enhancing patient services is an example of all our staff’s commitment to provide the best possible care for our patients.” The winners of the Scottish Health Awards 2014 will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony on November 6 in Edinburgh.
