Callum Cummine from the campaign is planning on having a meeting with council staff to discuss the factors of the campaign, and what has happened since. Any parent in the area who has a query or something they don’t feel comfortable about is free to email and the question will be put to the council by the campaigners.
Last month, ‘Scotland’s happiest lollipop man’ Nkosana, 74, was told by bosses at West Dunbartonshire Council to stop high fiving children of Aitkenbar and St Peter’s Primary due to health and safety concerns. The furore around the issue has died down in recent weeks with some confusion about how the matter was settled after the SNP refused to back a motion to ‘save the high five’ from socialist councillor Jim Bollan.
Callum has asked that anyone who has a question for West Dunbartonshire Council email him on callumc06@outlook.com.
