WINDOW workers are celebrating their skills after winning great grades.
The team at Dumbarton business Architectural Glazing Systems Limited each achieved a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in manufacturing.
Managers at the firm, which opened for business two years ago, gave staff the chance to learn because of a lack of training in the industry.
Now the company — which makes and supplies glass facades, roof glazing and commercial windows — is the only one in the sector with a fully SVQ qualified workshop.
Managing director Kevin Grainger said: “Better qualifications encourage higher wages and better job satisfaction. I’m delighted to be able to invest in the skills of our workforce.”
