The Scottish SPCA is issuing an appeal for blankets and towels to help animals based at its rescue and rehoming centre in Dumbarton.
The call to Dunbartonshire's pet lovers come as the Dumbarton centre is revealed to have rehomed over 210 animals, including rescued animals and those born in the SPCA's care.
Centre Manager Joe McDade said, “We’re struggling to keep up with the demand for blankets and towels at the moment.
“We ask that people do not donate any old duvets or pillows they may have as we find our animals can easily tear these apart.
“We hope kind-hearted locals will get behind our appeal as it would make lots of animals very happy."
Any donations of blankets can be handed in to the charity's centre in Milton between 10am and 4pm six days a week, except Tuesday.
