KEEN footballers took part in a special soccer tournament organised by community police officers.
Eight primary schools converged on East End park to show off their silky skills in the fun day.
And the also faced off against each other for a hotly contested tournament.
The schools involved were St Peter’s, Braehead, St Michael’s, Renton, Aitkenbar, Haldane, Knoxland and St Patrick’s.
They split into two groups of four, with the top teams playing each other in the final.
Aitkenbar beat Renton 5-4 in an exciting finale to the day and were awarded a winners trophy. However every player was awarded a medal.
Meanwhile, Knoxland goalkeeper Craig Runciman won player of the tournament and the fair play award went to Haldane.
