DANCE schools from Dumbarton and the Vale are expected to be limbering up this week as they prepare for the West Dunbartonshire Leisure Active Schools Dance Festival 2017 in the new Clydebank Leisure Centre.

This year around 300 pupils will be attending Wednesday night's show from 24 dance groups across 15 schools.

A spokesperson for West Dunbartonshire's Active Schools said: "The festival will be completed over two shows on the one night, this will be a truly fantastic evening.

"If your child is involved, audience tickets are now available to purchase from the school office, £4 per Adult and £1 per child (Under 16)."

The first show runs from 5.30pm to 7pm and the second one runs from 8pm to 9.30pm.

Due to the popularity of this festival this year, tickets will be limited to two tickets per child.

However, a waiting list has been created for extra tickets.
