BIG hearted pupils, teachers and parents at Knoxland Primary School in Dumbarton's Leven Street dug deep on Thursday afternoon to help out a really worthwhile cause.
The school hosted a Macmillan coffee afternoon, running from 1.30pm to 2.45pm, and it was a chance to raise funds for a service which is provided locally.
The day also coincided with an open afternoon and parents/guardians were given the chance to visit their child's class to see what they've been learning.
In keeping with the Macmillan theme, children were encouraged to wear something green- in support of the charity.
Also on that day the school's Primary 7 pupils hosted a cake and candy stall which also helped boost the coffers.
In total an impressive £1329.43 was raised and will now be sent to the Oncology Department at the Vale of Leven Hospital.
A school spokesperson has thanked everyone for their support and donations.
