SCENE: Police set up a cordon around the block

FIREFIGHTERS have rescued six people from a blazing block of flats in Bonhill.

The Reporter understands that one woman was taken to hospital after the fire broke out shortly after 4pm on Friday in O'Hare.

She was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation

Four adults, a child and a dog were also rescued by the fire brigade.
