The Loch Lomond Steamship Company would like to hear from anyone that can aid with their quest for a model skipper.
John Beveridge, director of the charity, said: “We have been donated an original captain’s uniform from a former Clyde skipper and would like to have this on display on the ship. The idea would be have a mannequin dressed up in the uniform in the wheelhouse, where the captain would have navigated the ship.” John added: “We think it will be a nice surprise for our visitors as the wheelhouse is completely empty.” To help call John on 0755 282 2251 or email john@johnbeveridge.net.
