Dumbarton and the Vale MSP Jackie Baillie congratulated the charity on its success.

She said: “I was delighted to hear that Tullochan has been successful in their recent funding application.

“Tullochan provides a wide range of youth services and this extra funding will help young people in West Dunbartonshire get the support and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.

“If there are any other groups in Dumbarton, Vale of Leven or Helensburgh who are looking for funding I would encourage them to visit www.biglotteryfund.org.uk/scotland or contact my office and I will be glad to assist where I can.” Langcraigs Hillwalking club is holding an Extraordinary General Meeting next week to discuss its upcoming 40th anniversary celebrations.
