Niamh Austin, 14, from Dumbarton, and Georgia Grant, also 15, from Cardross were selected to dance at the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh, which finishes on Saturday.
Both girls are members of the Sandra Lees School of Dance in Alexandria where they train every week.
Sandra said: “I am extremely proud of the girls and it’s a testament that the hard work, dedication and commitment to their dancing has led to this success.
“They are both beautiful dancers and it’s a significant achievement to be selected for this event.” Meanwhile the school’s talented youngsters also lit up the small screen with an appearance on STV Glasgow’s Riverside show.
Reporter Colin Stone visited the school on Wednesday to learn more about Highland Dancing in the run up to the world pipe band championships, which were held at the weekend.
