An investigation has been launched after an 18-year-old man sustained stab wounds when he was assaulted by a group of youths on a footpath adjacent to Mary Fisher Crescent, Dumbarton, underneath the railway bridge around 9.10pm on Sunday August 23.
He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, and discharged after treatment and stitches to his hand, shoulder and scalp. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening but could be scarred for life.
