Following an investigation into the alleged wilful fireraising which occurred at the derelict care home on Main Street, Alexandria, three girls aged 14, 13, and 12 years have been reported to the Children's Panel.
Fire engines from Balloch and Dumbarton were sent to Hill Street at around 2.30pm on Friday, July 31, after a fire was reported at the former Leven Cottage Care Home, just minutes from a petrol station.
It happened just 10 days before the building was due to be demolished to make way for a new housing development.
