Police enquiries are continuing and officers are re-appealing for any information on the whereabouts of Jackson Reid.
Jackson, aged 42 from Pollokshaws Road in Glasgow was last seen boarding a bus in Alexandria on Saturday June 27 and may have travelled to the Luss area.
He is described as white, 6ft in height and of medium build with short brown hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a dark grey hooded fleece top and trousers. He was also carrying a grey backpack with black panels.
Inspector Alex Hutton of Gorbals Police Office said: “Despite extensive enquiries, we have yet to obtain any information on Jackson’s whereabouts. This is obviously a very distressing time for his family and friends and they are extremely concerned for him.
“There have been no further sightings of Jackson since Saturday 27 June 2015 and he has had no contact with any members of his family or friends since then, which is totally out of character.
“Jackson is a keen outdoorsman and is a regular participant in outdoor sports including hillwalking, running, and was registered to participate in a number of sporting events over the last few months which he hasn’t attended.
“I would ask anyone who may have seen him, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
