LOCAL primary five children took to the fairways at Dumbarton Golf Club in Active Schools’ Golf Festival.
A number of different schools took part with the youngsters able to sharpen their skills on the course.
It didn’t take long for the golf prodigies to get into the swing of things with the help of the coaches, who were on hand to pass on some sound advice to the budding players.
Active Schools runs a range of events on all sorts of sports like football, tennis, netball, swimming and gymnastics.
