Children are bowled over by cricket festival
Schools from across Dumbarton and the Vale took part in a school’s cricket festival earlier this month.
More than 80 children from St Patrick’s, St Michael’s, Knoxland, Aitkenbar, St Ronan’s and Christie Park took part in the event.
Hugh Hutchinson, Vale of Leven CC, said: “It was a great day for our school’s cricket festival.
“A big thanks to Chris, Brian, Lauren and Hugh for their contribution and the Active School staff for co-ordinating the schools.
Vale of Leven’s youth cricket section meets on Thursdays at Millburn Park, Alexandria 6.30pm to 7.30pm. All are welcome.
