Dumbarton United’s 2005s continued their impressive start to their season with an emphatic 5-1 win away to Glenvale Reds.
Reece Beaton had the visitors cruising with two free-kicks in the opening 20 minutes before Jacob Thomson added the third.
Dumbarton went four up after the break with Kristian Zetocha’s long-range effort getting the better of the Glenvale keeper moments before the hosts bagged a consolation goal.
But Thomson grabbed his second and his side’s fifth to finish off the rout and make it six wins from their opening six matches for United.
