Brian Brown heaped praise on his Vale of Leven side after they got back to winning ways in some style with a resounding 3-0 win against Saltcoats at the weekend.
Vale had been without a win since September 1 but a Mark Butler brace and a late Lee McGeachy strike secured the vital three points which now sees them sitting just one point behind league leaders Lesmahagow.
And Brown firmly believes his side have it in them to put together a run of wins that would see them climb to the top of the table.
He said: “I was delighted to get back to winning ways at the weekend. The boys did really well especially after the last few weeks.
“We went three games without a win so it was good to get the show back on the road. Hopefully we can put together a few wins now.
“A bit of momentum could see us get to the top of the league. Lesmahagow aren’t playing this weekend so it’s important we pick up three points against Muirkirk on Saturday to put some pressure on.”
