Dumbarton FC manager, Stevie Farrell, has been named the Scottish League Two Glen’s Manager of the Month for November.

The Sons picked up seven points from a possible nine during the month, with wins over Stranraer and Elgin City and a 2-2 draw with Forfar Athletic, to establish a three-point lead over Stirling Albion at the top of the table.

Dumbarton have won 10, drawn three and lost two of their 15 league matches so far this season, while Stevie Farrell also picked up the League Two Glen’s Manager of the Month award for August.

Reflecting on his latest gong, Farrell said: “I am delighted to win the award again, but as with the previous occasions, this is an award for everybody at the club. It has been a team effort to get where we are in the league, but it has taken a lot of hard work and that hard work must continue.”

Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, said: “There is a real battle going on in League Two, with both Dumbarton and Stirling Albion putting together strong unbeaten runs to contest the top spot, and Stevie and his coaching staff have once again guided the side to an important series of results.

“My congratulations to all involved at Dumbarton on another strong performance during the month.”
