A RYAN MacGilliveray hat-trick helped St Patricks seal a 5-1 win away to Cambusnethan Talbot in the Central Scottish Premier League.
Danny Graham and Dom Ruane were also on target to seal an opening day league victory for St Pats.
MacGilliveray got his first of the afternoon after six minutes after some good work from Ross Willis, and Graham managed to double their lead just before the break.
Things got worse for Talbot as Jamie Kane was shown red in a frustrating afternoon for the hosts.
Saints struck again through MacGilliveray, before the home side scored a consolation goal through Sean Lindsay.
However MacGilliveray claimed his third of the afternoon before Ruane put the result well beyond doubt to make it five for St Pats.
Tomorrow night St Patricks face Greenock at Battery Park with a 6.40pm kick-off.
Then in a switch of fixture on Saturday, they have a Cinema Cup tie away to Clydebank.
