Relegation wash out

VALE of Leven Juniors vital relegation battle against Yoker Athletic was washed out on a May Saturday which saw only one West Region fixture take place.

The match will now take place at Holm Park this Saturday, kick-off 2.15pm.

Before this, Vale face a difficult away match against promotion contenders Thorniewood United at Robertson Park tomorrow (Wednesday). With just three games remaining, it is important Vale take at least seven points to have any chance of survival

The U21s home fixture against Thorniewood was cancelled and last Wednesday at Millburn they lost 4-3 to a young Glasgow University side. Nicky McGeachy netted twice for Vale along with a close range effort from Lee Geary.

Vale"s AGM is due to take place at Millburn on Monday evening, All members are asked to make an effort to attend from 7.30pm.
